Well, while Joon-Hwi listens to the audio recordings, he discovers that Byung-Ju is not his nephew but his son. Ji-ho tells Han Joon-hwi that it would make much more sense to say that Professor Seo wrote that thesis in the Kang Sol B case and then refers to an article in which CEO Seo Gi-yeol commits suicide in the middle of a judicial process. The CEO of the toy company was found by the son and the police found nothing suspicious. Ji-ho reveals that he is the son, and the prosecutor who investigated his father was Seo Byung-ju.
Later on, Han Joon-hwi wants to see the files, the story clearly affects him. Han Joon Hwi (Kim Bum) and Seo Ji Ho (David Lee) are two best friends who go to law school. They are intelligent and competitive, so sometimes there are conflicts that involve both of them. The mystery looming at Law School is the murder of a law professor, Seo Byung Joo (Ahn Nae Sang).
But as previous episodes have revealed, there are many other interconnected mysteries involved. Later, the drama removes suspicion by showing that when he went to confront Seo, he was already dying from an overdose of methamphetamine. Ji-ho says he didn't kill Seo because it was the same day his father died, so he vowed to do so by law. But, ironically, the bracelet became the perfect alibi that acquitted him of the murder of Seo Byun Joo (Ahn Nae Sang).
After that, Professor Yang introduced Ji Ho as the one with the greatest motive to kill Seo Byeong Joo. He then revealed to Joon Hwi that he is the son and that the prosecutor who handled the case was Professor Seo. In addition, he left some of his property to his nephew Han Jun Hwi (Kim Bum), who had turned his back on Seo since the bribery case. Meanwhile, Joon Hwi investigates Jin Hyeong Woo (Park Hyuk Kwon), who may have had his own reasons for wanting Seo to die.
However, the plot so far implied that none of the four individuals were responsible for Seo's murder, although Joo Man was willing to confess to the murder in court because he thought his daughter had killed him. The episode quickly reveals that Ji-ho's reason for becoming a lawyer is to take revenge on Professor Seo. As Seo Ji Ho recalls his last moment with the late teacher, a flashback appeared of him and Seo Byeong Joo, who was high. While Yang is the prime suspect and is being tried for the murder, other suspects include Joon Hwi, Kang Sol B (Lee Soo Kyung), the vice-dean of law school, and Kang Joo Man (Oh Man Seok), who happens to be the father of Kang Sol B.
